This is my response to the news article made on April 22, 2003, written by the deviant Caustic, entitled, Mainstream Digital Art: Where DA Stands.

I am today (April 24, 2003) leaving Deviant Art for good. This was a good idea for a site gone horribly wrong. I've about one good time at deviantart in my overall two year stay here, no more will I return.

First of all this article is bullshit.

Secondly, again (for about the 10th time), I am saying goodbye to this fuckhole of a site.

Some quick background, I have been part of DA off and on since it's first year, I have accounts dating back before the first birthday. All of them are dead because I've had enough with the shitty, stupidly gargantuan site. So in short terms, I am somewhat of a regular that has been around for awhile.

Some Thoughts

First, this article, in my opinion, only got posted because it promotes the site. That is the only reason why it got "Yellow Alien Approval". It's bullshit in general, and withouth ANY references what-so-ever to what was used for criteria and credentials of this site and even the other sites that are only CLAIMED to have been used is bullshit as well. If you have nothing to back this up with then fuck whomever wrote it and fuck the "Yellow Alien" for posting this.

Over the years I have seen DA go from a good idea to a big steaming pile of shit. Why you ask? There are simply too many people, too many idiots, too many assfuck 12 year-olds, too many wannabe elitist jack offs, too many pussies, dicks, idiots, assrapers, egos, just too many fucking people to have anything that could possibly be considered a decent community in any form. There are too many people that use this hellhole to have it be a pleasant and decent community...it's just impossible.

Art Trends

It used to be the "grunge artists" v. the "trendwhore artists". It still is in some cases, but now there are the (my opinion again) "normal people" v. the "furry artists" (who I am bias against since the majority of them are stupid little naive fucks anyhow...). It's bad enough when DA became sprawled with really shitty drawn anime. Now it's really shitty drawn anime and anime animals that some little werido wishes he could stick his dick in.

There is hardly any art on DA. "What's this you say!!??", you exlaim. I would easily venture to say that 92% - 95% of the things submitted to DA are shit...pure, wet, reeking shit. Most of these "digital artists", "artists", "writers", "photographers", "skinners", and any other type of proclaimed "artist" that shares work here has their fair share of flaws, and, like it or not, there are millions of stereotypes here.

As for the digital artist stereotypes, you have your stupid dickless ass licking kids who pirate Photoshop, get a photo from someone's gallery (because they don't know about copyright laws and what ROALTY FREE means), filter fuck it, and think it's the best thing. They then post it, and don't get any comments, because, you guessed it, it looks like a donkey cock. Then they get discouraged because they don't get praise and become popular.

As for the traditional artists...well...they're actually pretty ok...not really anything I have to say bad about them.

The writers...a lot of them are just teen-angst ridden fuckwits, some have decent material.

Photographers, the majority of you suck. About a third of you are good.

Skinners, some of you suck, some are good.

Overall point being that, as before stated, a lot of the art here sucks.

My opinion is, FUCK DEVIANT ART, it is neither deviant nor very artistic. The layout also sucks by the way is the color is god forsaken ugly. The people are fuckers (sure, including me, that is something I know anyhow though...most of you are too self-righteous and confident to realize it yourself...).
